Support Play At The Park

Many Individuals and Organizations Share Our Goals

Children In A Circle

The Toronto City Council and the Board of Health must find ways to support dog owners' needs without compromising other park users. Major organizations committed to children's health and safety support Play At The Park's efforts to ensure:

  • At no time should children's play and safety be compromised by dogs running free.
  • There is a need for the creation of safe and properly maintained enclosures where dogs can play safely off leash with limited opportunities for conflict with other park users.
  • Proper enforcement mechanisms are required.

These goals have been achieved by other cities and can be achieved in Toronto.

Join us in telling Toronto City Council and the Board of Health they have a fiduciary responsibility to established clear standards, guidelines and processes that protect public health and safety, minimize the conflict between dogs and people and have higher levels of enforcement
